The Fundred Dollar Bill project

(www.fundred.org) is a nationwide drawing project in which people design their own one dollar bills, which are going to be collected in April or May and presented to the White House with a request for an equal exchange of U.S. dollars which will be used to clean up lead-contaminated soil in New Orleans. MassArt and Urbano are both collection centers. If we can collect 7,000 Fundreds by the spring we will be put on the pick up route of Fundreds to be taken to the White House. Urbano is hosting a kick off event for this project on Saturday, February 20 from 3-5 at their center in JP. There will be food and tables to create Fundreds at, as well as information about the project. Overall it seems like a pretty fun time.
